Land Levelers

Land Levelers that uses a scraper to level the ground. The scraper is installed between the front and rear axle of the machine and can lift, tilt, turn and extend. The operation is flexible and accurate, the operation is convenient, and the site is levelled with high accuracy. It is suitable for constructing roadbed and pavement, building slope, excavating side ditch, stirring pavement mixture, sweeping snow, pushing granular materials and maintaining dirt road and gravel road.

The Land levelers have two types of two-axis and three-axis, commonly used for three-axis, its rear axle for two-axis four wheels, with a balancer, so that the force balance of the wheels, the front axle for a single-axis two-wheel, equipped with a differential, to facilitate steering. The three-axis Land levelers have the advantages of smooth running, good leveling effect, straight line running even under unilateral load, high production efficiency, and is widely used in the construction of various civil engineering.

The scraper of the Land levelers are mounted under the rotary ring through two brackets, and the rotary ring can be turned to adjust the position of the scraper. The support of the rotating ring is triangular, and its front end is hinged in the front of the main frame, and the two corners of the back end are respectively suspended in the middle of the main frame with the lifting hydraulic cylinder, and at the same time, it is hinged with the inclined hydraulic cylinder on the main frame, so that the scraper can be lifted, tilted or tilted out of the longitudinal axis of the main machine to smooth the road slope. The position of the scraper can also be adjusted to smooth the vertical slope. The scraper can be extended, or the bolt, hinge and tie rod can be fitted with a scraper. The scraper has different shapes and can excavate triangular or trapezoidal section of the side ditch. In front of the scraper, it is often equipped with a lifting soil rake to rake the solid soil and facilitate the scraper to smooth the operation. The front end of the main engine can also be equipped with dodging knives, snow sweepers, plows and other additional devices. The Land leveler often adopts hydraulic mechanical transmission, the power of the engine is output by the hydraulic torque converter and gearbox, and there is a multi-gear walking speed. The driven steering wheel is equipped with a tilting mechanism to tilt the wheels to improve the stability of the Land levelers when working on the slope. Large Land levelers also use articulated frames, small turning radius, higher maneuverability. There are also pull rod and crank connecting rod mechanism to control the position of the scraper, called mechanically operated Land levelers, has tended to be eliminated.

At present, the Land levelers mostly uses all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, articulated frame, hydraulic control and hydraulic mechanical transmission, and attaches importance to the development of tires, the use of grooved wide base low-pressure tires, in order to improve the work stability of machinery. The future development trend is to increase the variety and specifications of additional working devices, expand the operating performance of the main engine, and improve the driving speed of the main engine. Tire pressure regulators, automation systems and instrumentation are used to control the various movements of the scraper, and a laser can be used to control the flatness of the working surface.
